Reviews for Brazil Tours and Vacations

The host was the worst I have had in 8 Globus tours, 1 Alexander Roberts, and 1 Trafalgar. Spoke Portuguese to the driver the whole time I was in the car, picked up at the airport, traveling to and from the falls, going to the airport. Lazy, told me to travel to the end of stops for pictures and he would wait for me to return. Did not talk about the people, the falls the countryside, the people or anything else. Did not provide an e-mail or phone number to get a hold of him. Didn't offer to take me to the bird park, told me I could rent a cab. other guides took pictures, traveled with their guests the whole route, took pictures and explained the trees and wildlife etc.

David E

The hotel in Lima was not up to the standard. On my return I paid extra 195 dollars to upgrade my hotel to Casa Andina premium. There I noticed that Globus had put their guests for Peru Incas tour in the same hotel where I had to pay extra. So was short-changed.

Debashish B

This tour was great. It was Independent Rio 4 days. We had a great time. We were the only 2 on this trip and our local host and guide was great. Affordable Tours took care of arranging this for us and they are easy to work with. We have used them before and that is why we came back to them when we were ready to book another land base tour. Our travel agent was quick about responding to questions we had before we left.
