This was my first trip with Affordable tours.  Iwas very impressed. I personally didn't appreciate that I had to fight with multiple suitcase and having to walk long distances. Future trips i will definitely pack light because of all of the walking and transferring from plane, bus and trains.

You cannot beat Globus Escape tours for the price. They've become more and more popular as this is the 2nd or 3rd time they've opened a parallel tour to go with the one we've chosen. This tour was fast paced and would give a first time visitor a taste of the area. Globus tour directors are excellent and all of the hotels were located conveniently.

Super trip. Great tour director and super coach driver! We had a significant weather issue outside of their control and they did an outstanding job to deal with situation! Sites, hotels etc great!!

Some of the hotels were outdated but accessible to the city center. So you are trading one option for another.

Everything and everyone was great. Tracy and Francesco are the best tour guides I have ever met.

We had good tour director Mauricio. My only comment was that we booked it as a smaller group however we were integrated with a bigger group in total we were 24 in the group good thing the people in the tour were really nice people.

The tour director and driver were professional and courteous. It was great to learn the history of each area we toured. We enjoyed meeting our other travelers

Taking this trip off season is definitely the best way to go. Lovely area of the world with a lot of history. I learned a lot.

Ines was fabulous. Pedro was an excellent driver. I always felt safe.

Affordable Tours was very helpful and so easy to work with. Brenda made sure I had all the information I needed and sent very appropriate and friendly reminders that were so helpful. Brenda also answered my emails and phone calls promptly and accurately. I highly recommend Affordable Tours.

Some of the optional tours were cancelled. Some hotels were not in the center of town. Our tour leader Rogan was fantastic. The wine tour in Melbourne Yarra Valley was maxed at 6 people. More people wanted to go but no other option. The barbecue lunch at the farm was on the same day as the farewell dinner....not a good combo. The best driver was Robin.

To whom it may concern, I did not receive a “taste of London dinner cruise.” Also we never had a “guided drive through Paris, past the illuminated monuments and bridges, for a whole new perspective of Place de l'Opéra, the Champs Elysées, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame Cathedral, and more.”. I would have enjoyed some of the Hotels but, there was not Air conditioning working in Florence and Venice.

This was our Fourth trip with Globus, and as always it was wonderful. Our guide was exceptional, our itinerary was just what we expected, and the accommodations and food were just as Globus described in their literature. We definitely will travel with Globus again.

Tour guide was excellent. She had to overcome the massive disaster in Valencia, where she also lived, to adapt on the fly to changes in road conditions and hotel availability.

Great hosts along the tour. Transport worked great.

The last night optional dinner was overcrowded with at least 3 billiards of tourists. The food was adequate. The show was dated. The hotels were mostly very good. The hotel in Donegal was dated and filled with unattended small kids. They ran up in hallways until after 11pm.

Globus Tour Director was excellent. The provided experiences and excursions were fun and valuable.

We were pleasantly surprised with Avalon. They are really a top notch run organization.

This is the most disappointing Globus tour (in fact, any tour) we have ever had. The Manaus City tour proceeded without us, a day early, even though we arrived in Manaus to take the city tour as originally scheduled, even though we arrived at the airport on a later than originally scheduled flight. When we arrived in Manaus we were not met by a Globus rep and it took over an hour to finally get one to pick us up. Each time we had an internal flight, it used up a whole day. The tour leader in Santiago disappeared soon after checking us into the hotel and we needed to talk to her about possible activities for free time. Not enough people signed up for the Valparaiso Trip add-on trip so the cost was going to be in the hundreds of dollars per person. Since the hotel is in an out-of-the-way location, we were basically stranded at the hotel for our two free days. We feel the Tour guide should have assisted us with some activities. On the positive side, the food was good, and the sightseeing interesting.

We were not made aware of that Amazon portion of the tour is an extension of the tour. Due to draught for past two years, river was dry so could not go for canoe. Globus should have corrected the description of the Amazon tour.

This was our fourth Globus Tour. Our Tour Guide and Bus Driver were very professional, courteous and we felt they were the best we had. The places we visited met our expectations. The bus was clean & comfortable. The area we felt that Globus was lacking were the included meals. The dinners did not meet our expectations. We were in Sicily where seafood and just food in general is a huge part of the culture. Most meals did not include a salad or a protein. The meals were just a lot of pasta. In our past Globus tours there was always a choice of entree, but we did not have any choices. We realize not everyone likes or eats everything but there was no choice and we had to have what was given to us. We feel for this reason we will not book another Globus tour.

Tour director was knowledgeable, informative. excellent driver, safe and Courteous.

The tour leader Gert and the bus driver Simone went beyond what was expected to make for a great experience. Some of the meals and hotels were uneven but the efforts by Gert and Simone seemed to make everybody satisfied with the overall experience. They should let Gert work as long as he wants, he still has the skills.

The Itiniary for the tour was excellent and gave us a good knowledge of Portugal.

Lino was an amazing tour guide. He was knowledgeable and kind and really went above and beyond. He far exceeded my expectations for the trip.

Globus is a standup company that provides excellent tour options, accredited tour directors, and the ease and comfort of travel for people with luggage, personal issues, diets, children, etc. 

Very well organized - our tour director, Ines, was very friendly and knowledgeable about all aspects of the tour and where we toured, accommodations were very nice and comfortable. I would book future tours with Globus.

The hotel in Inverness, England was awful. The band with strong beats bothered everyone, it was hard to get decent sleep. About itinerary, we could have stayed in Liverpool, England 2 nights, quite a bit to see.

Always been a great experience. This is my third tour.

This was our 7th booking with Globus and their reputation for consistency and quality was evident in everything they did. Our Tour Director, Drivers and Local Guides were all excellent. We will be planning more tours with Globus in the future.

Never traveled with Globus in the past. Excellent experience, won’t hesitate to book again!

My wife and I have taken about 20 cruises over the years, both river and ocean. I don't remember ever being treated as well as we were by Avalon.

Globus always performs at a high level.

The Globus tour director was excellent. He was very knowledgeable about the areas we visited and kept us occupies during the bus rides. The accommodations were very nice and conveniently located.

It's usually hard to beat our expectations of a trip but Avalon most certainly did it. The atmosphere delivered, the food, the excursions and their wonderful staff made our vacation more than memorable.

The tour cities and sites we visited were all great. The pace of the tour was good (not rushed with time to rest, shop or sight see on our own). Our tour director was fabulous (good communicator, knowledgeable, nice sense of humor). Our driver was a wonderful driver, I always felt safe. The extra excursions (I purchased all 4) were excellent and reasonably priced. I will use Globus again.
