Was not impressed with the accommodations. Only double beds all week. Food was ok but not great.

We love Globus and have been on many tours including Avalon cruises and Independence City Stays too.

Our tour director Jorge was exceptional. The tour was very educational and interesting. We loved the plantation tours and the cooking class. However, I wished more information could be provided on the horse back riding to the La Fortuna Waterfall since it was not an easy walk down and up. Trip to Monteverdes could be eliminated since many of us got sick during the drive through those winding mountain roads.

First I want to clarify that my opinions on this tour are the opinions of an experienced traveler of the world. The tour was very well organized. It worked as a clock. The experiences and the visited places were wonderful. Learned a lot of things related to the unique places of Costa Rica, the Costa Ricans culture and their political and economic situation. The optional tour to learn about the cafe, sugar cane and chocolate production was very interesting, a must for the coffee and chocolate lovers. Tortuguero is a special unique place, still when you would no see a single turtle unless you go at the right time of the year. The hotels are very comfortable. Try to get rooms far from the front desk area The closer to the front desk are the noisier they are. The food is a bit repetitive and I wondering why they do not include some of the local fruits that for us are "exotic". We had only pineapple, papayas, watermelon and bananas all the time.

We really enjoyed the country of Costa Rica. We have noticed that Globus always has one hotel not of the same standard as the rest. This tour the food on most buffets was not to our liking. We did have several nice meals that we paid for. The one family meal at the coffee plantation was very nice also.

I know we were in a South American country but I did not expect the somewhat rustic accommodations. There was no air conditioning but we had good breezes and it was a little noisy. The surroundings of the inns were fantastic so I guess that is the trade off. I would love to return to some of the places we visited, Globus certainly knows how to run a top quality tour.

The trip was very disappointing. They tried to cover too much area, and left us little time to explore and shop off the bus. On our 5 boat trips we saw very few animals. The stay at Pachira Lodge really sucked. Especially the smell of septic gas wafting through my screened window. That was quite unacceptable! The meals were only average.throughout . We have better butterfly and frogs exhibits here in Charlotte. Our guide of the Sky walk didn't talk to us about the flora and fauna. I didn't get a private guided tour of San Jose as advertised. At the few stops we made, we were given maybe thirty minutes to explore. The trips to the plantations were great though. I had planned to tour again, but now I'm not sure.

great trip. Wonderful guide. Would do Globus again!!!!!

Great trip. our guide was absolutely wonderful. He was a gentleman, a scholar and made sure everything met our needs. Our driver was amazing. We had a fab time and loved the country. Overall, it was money and time well spent.
