Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
My biggest gripe with Globus are the dinners that are included which should be given a few choices on menu. I do not like pork and I find German food not the greatest too. The few rest stops during lunch breaks are not great too when we ate at McDonald’s and another time at Burger King. I have gone on other tours and this was rather disappointing.
Great tour guide and very informative trip. It is a fast paced tour.
The tour was excellent, the hotels and attractions were above expectations.
This was a unique World War II Excursion. There was a lot of walking and there was some very unique things that we enjoyed along the way. Poland was a pleasant surprise and I'm glad that we went there too. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that is looking for this type of trip.
This is my 9th escorted tour and by far the most enjoyable. The tour was well paced and the attractions were diverse. Our guide, really knows WWII and did a fantastic job with the historical points of interest. Our local guides were knowledgeable and most added a unique perspective. Our guide for walking tour of Dresden, was raised during the Soviet occupation and was particularly entertaining. The included breakfasts and dinners (7) were enjoyable and well planned. The hotel dinners were usually at the end of the longer days, and fit in well with our schedule. My only complaint is the farewell dinner, which would have been better if held at a local restaurant. Saying your goodbyes deserves atmosphere, and it was totally lacking at the Sheraton Westpark farewell buffet. We really enjoyed our time in Poland. They people are extremely friendly and English is spoken everywhere. You'll need local currency. A 24/7 Exchange is available a half block for the Warsaw Hilton and a supermarket is right next store. The excursion to the Wielczka Salt Mine was fantastic and not to be missed. There was enough variety in sightseeing to balance the depressing nature of the concentration camps. It's truly shocking what these people went through. I highly recommend this tour for anyone interested the war and IMO is 5 out of 5 stars for the price.
great, great time
Was very disapointed in Berlin. Globus would have known ahead of time that the president of Israel was staying there for the time we were and should have booked with another hotel. We were made to feel like terrorists with going through thorough security 3 times every time we went out. I'm not complaining about the security for a high official but if wanted that kind of security I would have gone to Israel. It was totally ridiculous and the hotel and Globus should be ashamed of themselves. It really put a damper on the vacation and I don't think there was one person that was happy with that.

Great trip! Very educational. Tour guide and coach driver were fantastic! Rooms were very nice, although figuring out lighting situation was often confusing. Figuring out showers was interesting too. The one problem I saw was that when we visited sites such as Auschwitz, Dachau and Schindlers factory, we seemed rushed. We need to be allowed more time!
