Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Globus was an excellent tour operator. The tour director often exceeded my expectations. I would definitely rebook with this operator.
Cicerone Hotel was a disappointment. Hotel location is fantastic however the room is dated and needed upgrading. The Murano hotel and NH were superb. Overall was satisfactory. This is our third trip with Globus and very likely will use globus for future trip.
The tour in Rome was a half day The options for pm should NOT have been optional. Very disappointed with this part
The tour was very well-organized but could be a bit hectic if one joins all the optional tours, but these optional tours actually enhanced my appreciation of the places we visit and allowed close and friendly interactions with other people in the tour.
This was a wonderful trip, which exceeded our expectations.
We just returned from our trip to Italy with Globus (booked through Affordable Tours). It was a magnificent trip that covered a lot in just a few days. We covered Rome, Assisi, Venice, Siena and Florence. The accommodations were very good (all 4 star hotels). We have to remember that European Hotels are very different from American Hotels. They were all charming and provided with the services necessary for a pleasant trip. While in Venice, the excursion to Burano is a must. While in Florence, the excursion to a Tuscany Farm Restaurant was the highlight of the trip. The Tour Guide was very knowledgeable and communicated well with most of the participants. My entire family of 5 had an excellent experience and we would not hesitate to book another tour with Globus. Affordable Tours has booked 3 consecutive tours for me and my family and has essentially been a pleasant experience every time. Thanks.
The trip was excellent and so was service by Globus.
The Globus tour guide was excellent.
This was a fast paced trip. For us we would not choose to change hotels every 2 nights again. The Vatican tour was done at light speed. 15 minutes in the Sistine Chapel is too little. Photo ops are by chance. Not once did a bus stop so we could get a great photo.
We were very pleased with Affordable Tours and with Globus.
We really appreciated all of the suggestions included in our travel folder and recommendations for traveling to Italy. The only thing missing was information about the local guides in each city. A suggestion, please include an envelope for each tour guide as well a tour director and bus driver. At least give a recommended amount to tip each local guide. Thank you so much. We LOVED this trip!
We had an amazing trip will definitely keep you I mind for any if our other trips.
We had a wonderful trip. Globus was amazing. The entire trip from our flight to and from ran very smoothly. I can honestly say I do not have one comlaint....only positives. Thank you!
The hotels on this Globus tour were a disappointment. The itinerary scheduled for the Carlton Grand Canal hotel in Venice, but that was changed to the Ambasciatori hotel on the mainland in Venice...so not the canal experience we had hoped for (& a reason we had booked this tour). A lot of time was wasted in Venice because we had to transfer by bus to the boats. We didn't find out about the change of hotel in Venice until the first day of the tour. The other hotels in Rome & Florence did not meet expectations.
Our Tour Director was excellent. Hope we will have another one like him the next time we have our trip. We enjoyed very much and was a very pleasant and memorable experience to all of us. Thank you Globus and Affortable Tours....
We only had one problem - getting to the Hotel in Rome. We did not see any offer for transfer on arrival by air in Rome. Fortunately, a tour guide with another travel company that we met on our flight into Rome, was able to set up the transfer for us!
It was a great vacation and would recommend both Globus Affordable Tours without any reservations.
Hotel rooms were way too small for two. Understand that is the European standards, but it's not worth the price. The Kraft and Villa Pamphili room sizes met the standards for the price of the room.
A few of the optional trips thru Globus did not provide transport back to hotel. I was little disappointed about the additional cost and trying to find my way in a new city. I will keep this in mind dealing with Globus.
The Globus tour guide was fabulously great. She was very knowledgeable, kind, organized and had great sense of humor. I really enjoy my experience. I learned a lot. The places were amazing. I really had an unforgettable time in Italy. =)
Tour Guide was excellent. Personal radios were a good idea--I just wish they worked more consistently.
The trip to Italy went off without a hitch and the extended time and tour we booked was easy to access once we got there.
We had a great time and look forward to the next trip. Hotels and our tour guide were great.
Overall it was a good experience and I did enjoy our vacation. The agent from Affordable Tours was great to work with. Our Tour Director from Globus and Driver were excellent as well!
Globus is an exceptional organization. I am very pleased that we were able to tour a foreign land and see the highlights and have everything put together so well.

Good trip with knowledgeable tour director and site guides. Hotels went from what was unexpected (Venice) to disappointed (Florence). The crowds of tourists was overwhelming at times. The sites we visited were absolutely wonderful. Overall we enjoyed our trip.
