LOCAL TASTES It’s crystal clear why we get a warm feeling on the Ring on Kerry with traditional Irish Coffee – as much a warm welcome now as it was for stranded travelers in 1943. It was a wintry night in Limerick when Foynes Port chef Joe Sheridan concocted this soothing elixir of hot coffee, Irish whiskey, sugar, and whipped cream to make their cancelled flight a little more palatable. Raise a toddy glass of Caife Gaelach with a hearty “slainte!”

I’ve traveled with Globus several times- I did not realize how this Escape Tour would be so disappointing and the excursions expensive and totally not worth the money.

We had a great trip. Thanks so much!

Some hotels were great and some were just soso. This also applies to the breakfast offerings.

Sarah Tomlinson was great to work with. She was prompt in her responses and made our travel experience wonderfully memorable!

This is my 3rd Globus tour, with a 4th already booked. The sights, food, hotels, and excursions were fantastic. Our party of 6, including 3 kids (8, 11, 13) and my 65 year old mother had an amazing time!

We have to pay from our own pocket for several visited places and this was not informed in the tour package. For an example a visit to Blarney Castle.

This trip was absolutely phenomenal, start to finish - our tour guide Paul and local driver, Norman, were both absolutely fantastic. They were knowledgeable and friendly! The hotels were all very comfortable with amazing staff that took great care of us. The trip itself was also great, including all the highlights of Ireland that we wanted to see in a relatively short amount of time! All in all, would highly recommend this trip! There is a decent amount of time in the bus traveling between cities, but again, we got to see many cities we otherwise wouldn't have visited that way!

It was a bare bones tour without any tours or guides. All sightseeing was drive bye Each sight or city we were on our own. An hour here and an hour there All in all it was simply a bus drive around Ireland. Never again

Was a wonderful tour. Tour director was so very good and had lots of knowledge of the area we were touring. Hotels were clean and in good locations. We have already booked a tour with you for Greece in the fall.

This was a wonderful trip. We were able to join up with a couple that we had met on another Globus tour last spring and enjoy this together. We are planning another rip next spring with Affordable Tours and Globus. Ireland was everything that we were hoping that it would be and booking with Globus we knew that we would have the best of accommodations in both motor coach and hotels. As far as we are concerned Globus is the best in offering tour. Thanks again.

This tour met our expectations and was everything we anticipated. This is an  affordable tour and everything worked on schedule. Both the tour director and the bus driver were excellent. Hotels were good and the people of Ireland are wonderfully friendly. We just prefer a more upscale tour but we knew what we were getting and it was well done.

We have never been on an escorted tour and were a bit apprehensive. No longer! We had an amazing trip, fabulous guide (Carmel) and great accomodations and excursions. We couldn't have been happier with our Globus Irish Escape tour (March 2019).

From top to bottom, we were totally satisfied with the arrangements, tour operator, flights & accommodations. It was a great vacation & lots of fun. Thank you.

Very nice tour highlighting Irish culture throughout the various areas of the country.

One hotel was dirty. We were too rushed and not a lot of time to eat and shop. Too much time on bus. WiFi not good on bus and could not use toilet.

Very professional great to deal with.

The Irish Escape by Globus was wonderful. The hotel accommodations and the included meals were excellent. The tour director was very knowledgeable about the each region we travel to. She also had a fun sense of humor and made the bus rides fun.

A busy schedule but great tour guide and driver made it grand.

I would highly recommend Globus. The tour director and driver were excellent and my 80 year old mother was able to enjoy Ireland with me and had a wonderful time thanks to their care and knowledge. I have never taken an escorted tour before but would be very happy to take another and probably will.

Our tour director and driver were fantastic. Both went above and beyond. Our driver was seriously the best driver ever. The hotels were unbelievably, so beautiful. We saw and learned so much about Ireland. Great trip. I strongly recommend to everyone.
