Question: What is the longest time in one day on the coach?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Globus was a good choice for this trip to Canada. Our Tour Director was the best Tour Director out of all the trips we've taken! He was knowledgeable, friendly, patient and told great stories, showed videos and played music all relating to the areas we traveled in. Some Hotels were awesome: Inn at Laurel Point in Victoria, Fairmont Chateau in Whistler, & Sun Peaks Grand in Kamloops was really nice. Some of the Hotels were not exactly up to the standard which we thought was part of the trip (Sawridge Hotel in Jasper needs extensive updating ). The Rocky Mountaineer was great! Although we had an issue on day two on the train were the air conditioner wasn't working and it was extremely hot so they moved the entire group through six coaches and kitchens to get to the "Dead Car" which was very old and did not have all the amenities of Gold Class and that was disappointing. It was more sitting than we are used to so I would keep that in mind for our next trip.
0ne problem I had with the Globus description they offered a Peak to Peak option in Whistler which was closed and had been scheduled to close before our trip Also Buffalo Mountain Lodge in Banff was not up to the standards I expect from Globus
Karen was our Travel Agent and couldn't be sweeter or MORE helpful. She is patient, kind and answers all of our questions and books everything without a flaw. Does a great job Our Travel Guide on the bus was too laid back we were his last trip and he didn't seem to share alot of knowledge of locations. He wasn't visible alot on the trip and excursions didn't all go well and i was wondering if he was late in making arrangements or confirming them. 3 excursions were changed around. 1 they didn't show up to take us to see wildlife at all so some portion of money was returned since we did eat prior. Canoe trip was delayed in time and ONLY ALLOWED US to go on River for 20 min too dark where we were suppose to have 1 hour on river Gilvray or Lake. Then lastly a gondola trip was totally cancelled due to closed for maintenance this week EVERY YEAR WE paid for this too . SOMEONE HAD TO KNOW THAT THIS IS CLOSED EACH YEAR THIS WEEK???? VERY DISAPPOINTED IN NOT DOING THESE THINGS. WE may never get to Canada Rockies again.
Absolutely the most wonderful, memorable traveling experience! We had a tour director who lived and worked in the areas we visited, so her knowledge was firsthand. The tour provided us with an opportunity to see many parts of western Canada and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.
Great trip tour director was great they all should be as good
Only one complaint. All but one lodging was wonderful. The Buffalo Mountain Lodge in Banff was sub-par. Dirty, stained rugs, etc. Our tour director, Verdrana, was the best!!!! Extremely Knowledgeable in every area. She was always compassionate and helpful with all passengers. A real asset to Gloubus.
Globus and affordable tours was excellent.
Tour Director and bus driver were outstanding!! The tour itself was as advertised.
Excellent service offered by Globus. Great tour Director and great driver.
The tour guide was outstanding. His knowledge and expertise made the trip educational as well as fun!
