This vacation visits national parks and other remote locations where some facilities may not meet the first-class standard you expect from Globus. Some lodges within the parks do not feature televisions and other routinely expected amenities.
The Antelope Slot Canyon with a local Navajo guide on Day 5 requires walking roughly 1/4 mile over a dirt/sand path and 4-5 medium flights of metal stairs with handrails up and down to access the canyon.
Breakfast daily, 1 box lunch in Zion, 5 dinners

Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Excellent tour director and driver combo! The Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, Arches national, Antelope canyon, Lake Powell are all beyond our expectation while Grand Canyon and Zion are where we expected before the trip. Well worth the time and cost! The accomodation are solid though it could be better but will likely cost more. But the people on the bus are great people to make new friends with.
The tour was exactly what I expected. The tour guide and bus driver were very professional and went out of their way to help people. The National Parks were all great to visit.
We really enjoyed ourselves on this trip. Overall, we were very pleased with everything.
Tour guide Susanna was informative and very personal.
Globus has followed through with everything they advertise. This was our third Globus tour and we loved it.
Globus and our tour director provided an outstanding experience.
This was our first bus tour. It provided a good overall exposure to the National Parks but did not spend enough time in the parks. Seemed somewhat rushed with having to get the luggage out so early and changing hotels frequently.
A fantastic trip, fantastic photos, like being on another planet.
Outstanding trip. I enjoy traveling with Globus and making my arrangements thru Ben at Affordable travel.
Enchanting canyons land is a great trip! Thanks Steve Osten
The trip was wonderful in every aspect.
Great trip!
This is a great tour. The sights are fantastic, the accommodations pretty spectacular. And the tour leader.... I have never had a better, more informed and personable tour leader. I'd do it again if I was sure we'd have Todd (and I didn't have other places I wanted to see)
Excellent trip ! Perfect weather and fabulous sites!
Our Globus Tour Director was great! We had a great time and the experiences and sights will last a lifetime.
Nearly everyone on our tour was unanimously in agreement that the tour was over the top in service, accommodations, meals, and the tour guide was more than exceptional. Like wise, everyone was in agreement that the itinerary should be tweaked covering the last day and a half. The St. George overnight stop was neither necessary or appealing. One could have the same experience at home staying at a Courtyard hotel. Globus needs to decide whether to stay in Zion (The Zion Lodge or plentiful hotels adjacent to the park would be sufficient choices) or reduce the tour by one day and have an early evening arrival at the tours hotel-Treasure Island in this case. This could be easily accomplished by skipping the downtown lunch on Fremont Street experience.
Our tour director was the best! Everything ran right on time and as stated. The accomodations and meals were great. This was a great itinerary and tour. Having been our second experience with Globus, we will continue to use them!
This is a fantastic tour of the "canyonlands" of the American West. The landscapes are so different from what is seen elsewhere. I recommend this tour for all those who love the different travel experiences that this world has to offer.
Tour guide was good, but not as good as other Globus guides I have had. The driver was very good. Free-range chicken I had at Lake Powell was the worst chicken I have ever had. I could not cut it because it was so bony. The 15-mile ride to Slot Canyon was the worst ride I have ever had. They went at least 45 miles per hour out there in a bumpy vehicle. Chill factor was below freezing. The best hotels were at Monument Valley and St. George, Utah. Treasure Island had excellent breakfast buffet food. How do they do it? The shower and bathtub water at the Grand Canyon did not work. The canyon scenery was spectacular with Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon being best. Zion and Monument Valley were next best. Canyonlands is a waste of time. Globus Tours should provide plastic name tags & a list of the names & email addresses of all tour participants, plus a group photo. Why don't they? Collette Tours does.
Our third trip with Globus and we were not disappointed. In the southwest USA National Parks, accommodations are scarce and expensive in some places, so we were prepared for hotels that were great in location and maybe less than great otherwise. All were really very good. Yes, internet can be a bit weak in places and Grand Canyon lodges are a bit rustic, but we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meals and hotels. The scenery and parks were, of course, great as were our tour guide and bus driver. Everything was well planned and well executed. We got our money's worth.
Globus tour Enchanting Canyonlands far exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful and truly "enchanting."
One of the best tours I've taken.
This was a very good trip. Only real disappointment was caused by the incorrect listing of the hotel at the Grand Canyon. It is listed as Maswik North in the literature we were sent which led us to believe we would be visiting the north rim. The correct name is Maswik Lodge, which happens to be on the south rim. We had already visited the south rim a few years ago and were looking forward to seeing the Grand Canyon from the north rim.
The Canyon Land Trip was incredible - Everything we expected and then some. Easy pace and everyone seem to agree that it was near perfect.
Trip was fabulous and Globus far exceeded my expectation! The only little glitch was that the tour description by Globus did not say how much hiking was involved! Guide, driver, accommodations, etc. were terrific. The Canyons were a feast for the eyes. So glad I booked this trip.
--Red Cliff's Lodge was exceptional. --Our Guide was also top notch, and was very knowledgeable of the history of the area. He tweaked the itinerary a little and was much better because of it. Our driver was the best we've ever had. Thank you for a wonderful vacation and memories!!!
This tour was a fantastic experience. The tour guide was extremely knowledgable, had a most pleasant manner and genuinely enthused about all the National Parks we visited. The bus driver also was a very competent driver. He always greeted us with a smile. Would recommend the tour to others.
Everything was perfect! In fact, we recommended Affordable Tours to others in our group. I liked the savings that we accrued by paying in full in advance. We'll do it again next year.
TRIP WAS FANTASTIC. I WILL USE BOTH GLOBUS AND AFFORDABLE TOURS AGAIN.
I recommended Affordable Tours to other people I met on our trip. The tour guide was excellent. Very organized and knowledgeable. Did not only see great wonders of nature but learned a lot from the tour guide. Was a very enjoyable trip without any problems.
This is one of the best tours I have with Globus in the past 10 years
The tour guide did a great job. He was knowledgeable, courteous, interesting and caring. The bus driver was friendly and drove in a very comfortable and safe manner.
