I had a great time. The hotels were comparable to what we paid for so don't expect the four seasons. But they were clean and the staff were nice.

Many of the motels, even though they are American owned, did not have grab bars in the bathtub for safety. They were all clean and comfortable. Three of three were not close to town and were not easily accessible for walking.
