Tour Itinerary
Featuring exhilarating game drives through grasslands, woodlands, and swamplands—plus distinctive safari lodges and tented camps that blend into the living landscape, this Africa vacation was designed for those who like to take a walk—or a nap—on the wild side. Game drives through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and Serengeti National Parks—as well as the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater—offer an opportunity for up-close views of the “Big 5” (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo) as well as countless other majestic creatures. As you explore these mesmerizing parks, prepare to see zebra grazing, hippo bathing, elephants trumpeting and, if luck is on your side, cheetah sprinting. Marvel at Maasai Warriors jumping in celebration of life. There’s lots to fall in love with on this timeless Tanzania safari, including morning mimosas and sundowner drinks in the bush to quench your thirst for knowledge and adventure.

Question: Where are you based?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
accommodations better than expected, lunch and toilet stops better than expected, on the northern Tanzania circuit, experience very little flies or other flying insects in June. Also, the weather was cooler than expected because your at altitude. At every hotel/tent stop, you are greeted by smiling staff with a hot towel and a drink,water/orange juice. Hotel staff delighted to see and serve you.Outstanding Globus tour.
My introduction to the tour was strange and uncomfortable. When I was picked up I was told that at 9 am next morning I would be picked up at hotel after over 24 hours of travel this was not ok. Clearly told this to driver and thought it was settled. early the next day I received a call and I told him I planned to sleep in and hung up. Someone in the globus system provided my travel info. I paid for a rest day I did not get, This is not a way for a customer to be treated I paid for a day of rest that I did not get.
Our tour director was very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora of Tanzania, very passionate about the people of Tanzania. He was very well organized and made adjustments to the schedules to maximize the game drives, so that we could see the best of the animals at all our stops. He knew each of us by name and made sure our needs were met. Our driver was very knowledgeable about the fauna and flora of Tanzania. He knew the facts and figures and responded to our questions. He had a very good sense of humor and kept the game drives very interesting. We were amazed at his driving skills and multi-tasking skills - that he could keep an eye on finding the animals perched on a tree or far into the wilderness, keep in contact with his other drivers to communicate interesting spotting of animals, respond to our questions and make sure the drive was safe and smooth for us, the passengers.
I had a wonderful vacation to Tanzania and Beyond. Everything went on very well. Thanks for all your help.
Globus (as well as Affordable Tours) is aware of our disappointment over the change in lodging for our last 3 nights in the Serengeti. Had we been made aware of the type of lodging in contrast to the Sopa and Serena lodges it may have made it more palatable. OVERALL, THIS WAS A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND ONE I WILL CHERISH AND REMEMBER ALWAYS. I WAS PARTICULARLY IMPRESSED WITH BOTH OUR GUIDE AND DRIVER ON THE SAFARIS. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

The Globus trip was excellent from the very beginning to the end. Personnel were available at the airport in Tanzania to help pass through immigration and to transfer us to our hotel. On the last day of the trip there was a layover in Arusha for several hours and a room was provided at a nearby hotel to rest until our next flight. The tour director and drivers were excellent; personable and knowledgeable. Accommodations and food were excellent. I would recommend this trip to my friends. The Globus information guide specified only soft side baggage. This requirement was not adhered to by several of the guests and no Globus personnel seemed to care. Perhaps this requirement should be relaxed. Also Globus recommended against certain bright colored tops. This seemed totally unnecessary.
