DAY 3, Monday - Bled Island & Bohinjsko Jezero Gondola Ride
This morning, visit Bled, and explore Bled Castle, perched on a cliff overlooking the lake. Continue your day on Bled's lake aboard a pletna, a traditional rowing boat for a visit to Bled Island and its church, home to a wonderful art collection. Savor lunch at a local restaurant. Later take an aerial gondola ride to witness stunning views of Triglav National Park. Afterward, head back to Bled

DAY 4, Tuesday - Tour Ljubljana & Travel to Opatija, Croatia
Travel to the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana. View the most significant sights of the old city center, with its unique mixture of Baroque and Art Nouveau architecture. Stop at the picturesque open-air market, Three Bridges Square, Town Hall, and Robba Fountain, one of the city's best known Baroque monuments. In the afternoon depart for Croatia, to the seaside town of Opatija on the Istrian Peninsula, a gem on Croatia's Adriatic coast, nestled along the striking Gulf of Kvarner. Tonight dinner is at a local restaurant

DAY 5, Wednesday - Istrian Peninsula and Olive Oil Tasting
Today tour the Istrian Peninsula, beginning in Pula, a strategic port since the times of the ancient Romans. Visit the Pula arena, one of the world's six largest remaining Roman amphitheaters. Next drive to Chiavalon to visit a local olive oil mill for a tasting and demonstration on olive oil production. Afterward, the tour continues to the resort town of Rovinj where you will spend free time exploring the old town and its narrow lanes before returning to Opatija

DAY 6, Thursday - Tour Plitvice Lakes, Travel to Split
Begin the day with a drive to Plitvice Lakes National Park*, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These 16 terraced lakes descend 300 feet in 4 miles down a wooded hillside via a series of waterfalls. Then continue to the seaside city of Split, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tonight, dinner is at a local restaurant*This a very active day with a walk down to the Plitvice Lakes, that requires good walking shoes

DAY 7, Friday - Discover Split, Ferry to Hvar
Walk along the cobbled streets of the Old Town of Split featuring the historic inner city with its dominating Roman influence, built around the astonishing 4th century Palace of Diocletian. This spectacular palace is the largest and best preserved Roman palace in the world, built for the Emperor Diocletian, representing a precious example of Roman architecture. View the remains of the Roman Peristyle, the Cathedral of St. Domnius and the Temple of Jupiter, with its headless black sphinx guarding the entrance. Spend time discovering the town independently before boarding a ferry to Stari Grad in the afternoon. After an orientation tour enjoy free time to explore Stari Grad before driving to the island of Hvar. Tonight dinner is at a local restaurant

DAY 8, Saturday - Explore Hvar
This morning, take a sightseeing tour of the charming town of Hvar, known for its cobblestone streets and elegant Venetian architecture. Stroll through its historic center, with the first public theater in Europe. Visit the Benedictine Monastery and view the 15th century Franciscan Monastery, overlooking a pretty cove. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Perhaps you'll relax on one of the island's beaches, or board a boat to the Pakleni Islands, just off Hvar's coast, for snorkeling and swimming

DAY 9, Sunday - Ferry to Korcula
Today, ferry back to the mainland and travel south through the Adriatic coast to the small town of Drvenik for lunch at a local restaurant. Drive along the narrow fingerlike peninsula of Peljesac. Later, board a ferry to the Dalmatian Island of Korcula, birthplace of the legendary explorer Marco Polo

DAY 10, Monday - Korcula, Ferry to Dubrovnik
This morning, explore the Old Town of Korcula. Walk to the impressive Romanesque-Gothic St Mark's Cathedral, one of Korcula's most prominent landmarks. Admire the intricate stone carvings, and the beautiful altarpiece created by Tintoretto, a renowned Venetian painter. After lunch at a local restaurant, stop at a local winery for wine tasting. Afterwards board the ferry and travel to the spectacular walled city of Dubrovnik. Tonight dinner is at a local restaurant

DAY 11, Tuesday - Tour of Dubrovnik
Begin the day with a walking tour of Old Dubrovnik, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the tour, visit the Rector's Palace, an outstanding blend of Gothic and Renaissance architecture and view the monumental Sponza Palace, preserved in its original form. Under the City Bell Tower on Luza Square view Orlando Tower, dedicated to the knight that saved the city in the 9th century. View the Dominican Monastery and visit the Franciscan Monastery with its pharmacy. The rest of the day is yours to wander the never-ending lanes of the Old Town. Tonight, drive to a homestead, just outside Dubrovnik for dinner consisting of traditional dishes

DAY 12, Wednesday - Silk Wonder and Old Mills
Today embark on a Silk Wonder and Old Mills Tour. Travel to Gruda and visit the gallery of Antonia Ruskovic. Learn how silk is produced and browse the extensive selection of handmade products. Afterward, continue to Ðivanovic Mill, to watch a demonstration of flour production and wool processing. There are not many fulling mills left and this, is the only operational one in Dalmatia. Learn about fabrics and the importance of it in the whole region. Later, return to Dubrovnik. Tonight during dinner bid farewell to your Tour Manager

    Outstanding tour, with awesome and very knowledgeable Tour Director. The hotels were always clean and comfortable with very pleasant staff. Food was plentiful, always delicious and reflective of the popular dishes of the country, I definitely recommend this tour.
