DAY 3, Monday - Full Day in Paris
Spend the day at leisure or, join the optional Grand Louvre Museum. Begin the tour with a stroll through the commercial area outside the Louvre, and continue inside the museum where an experienced guide will present to you various exhibitions. Of the many exhibitions found therein, this tour covers those of the medieval fortress, the modern pyramid, the Egyptian department, and some of the museum's most reputed masterpieces, including Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa

DAY 4, Tuesday - Full Day in Paris
Today is free to explore cosmopolitan Paris on your own. Choose the optional Versailles Apartments. The tour takes you to Versailles Palace to witness the grandeur of French classical architecture. Visit the palace and extravagant State Apartments, including a guided visit to the Reception Halls, the Queen's Bedroom, and the Hall of Mirrors. You will also have time to walk the palace grounds and formal gardens*, designed by Andre le Notre at your leisure*During Apr to Oct, entrance to the gardens is not included but can be purchased locally.

DAY 5, Wednesday - Flight to Rome
Transfer independently to the airport for your flight to Rome. Upon arrival, make your way to the hotel and spend the balance of the day at leisure

DAY 6, Thursday - Full Day in Rome
Today is free to explore enchanting Rome on your own. Perhaps, join the optional Vatican Museums. This afternoon, take a guided tour of the Vatican Museums and Michelangelo's incomparable Sistine Chapel. Your local guide will lead you into the museums, where you'll visit one of the most important art collections in the world. Admire the Gallery of Tapestries and the Geographical Maps before arriving to the famous Sistine Chapel, with its great frescos by Michelangelo. Stroll through St. Peter's Square, passing Bernini's famous colonnade to view St. Peter's Basilica

DAY 7, Friday - Full Day in Rome
On your last day at leisure, perhaps choose the optional Pompeii & its Ruins with lunch from Rome. Depart Rome in early morning for a drive along the Highway of the Sun, past the Roman countryside and the scenic regions of Lazio and Campania. Admire the views of the Mediterranean and the still active volcano Vesuvius, as you learn how people lived in ancient times. Stop in Naples for a panoramic tour and have a traditional Neapolitan pizza for lunch. Afterward, visit the UNESCO Archaeological Site of Pompeii and explore the ruins of this city trapped in time after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Explore this once thriving city, frozen in time by layers of volcanic ash. Return back to Rome in the evening

The Radisson Hotel was way above expectations and all others were very nice. The bus with wifi and charging ability was very nice and allowed me to share the trip with others while traveling. The food was extremely good and many more choices than expected. All flights, pickups and delivery were accomplished on time and with ease. The bag handlers were always there and made everything run smoothly with little effort on my part.
