DAY 1, Monday - Depart for Nepal

DAY 2, Tuesday - Arrive in Kathmandu, Transfer to Nagarkot
Arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal's capital city and transfer to your hotel in the small hilltop village of Nagarkot. The rest of the day is at leisure

DAY 3, Wednesday - Hike to Changu Narayan Temple
Begin your walk along the ridge down to Changu Narayan Temple. Admire views of traditional rural villages and verdant terraced fields. On arrival, visit the ancient Hindu temple which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is surrounded by a forest of champak trees. Afterward, travel to Bhaktapur and savor a special lunch prepared by the local Newari community. In the afternoon, drive back to Nagarkot. Spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure before dinner tonight

DAY 4, Thursday - Flight to Pokhara, Begnas Lake
This morning, transfer to the airport in Kathmandu for your flight to scenic Pokhara, the gateway to the Annapurna mountain range. Arrive and drive to your hotel located on the shores of Begnas Lake. In the afternoon, embark on a walk amidst villages of the Gurung people to Sundari Danda, offering panoramic views of Begnas and Rupa Lakes, along with breathtaking vistas of Machhapuchhre, known as Fishtail Mountian (weather permitting)

DAY 5, Friday - The Royal Trek
Discover the stunning natural beauty of the Annapurna mountain range and Pokhara Valley during the hike today. After an early breakfast, drive to the village of Kalikasthan and embark on a hike that is part of the Royal Trek, which is named after King Charles III following his visit in the 1980s. Trace the footsteps of royalty as you begin the uphill climb to Thulokot. Take in the breathtaking scenery of snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna massif. Walk along the ridge and later descend, stopping at Lamaswara, a small fishing village. In the afternoon, drive back to the hotel

DAY 6, Saturday - Hike to World Peace Pagoda
Spend a pleasant morning of hiking to the famous World Peace Pagoda. After a short drive to Pokhara Damside, begin the hike and slowly ascend through a forested trail to the World Peace Pagoda. Admire awe-inspiring views of the majestic Annapurna range, Fewa Lake and Pokhara Valley. Following exploration of the World Peace Pagoda, descend and have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue the downhill hike, passing through local villages. Board a boat and cross Fewa Lake. Then, drive to Sarangkot and check into your hotel

DAY 7, Sunday - Sarangkot to Naudanda Hike
Embark on a scenic hike to Naudanda. The first part of the trail goes uphill and follows a series of ridges overlooking the spectacular Annapurna & Dhaulagiri massifs. This trek provides a unique opportunity to explore the stunning natural landscape and experience different mountain communities and their lifestyles. After lunch at a local restaurant in Naudanda, drive back to the hotel. Tonight, enjoy a home cooked Gurung dinner with traditional folk song and dance performance by the local Gurung community

DAY 8, Monday - Flight to Kathmandu, Kora of Boudhanath Stupa, Guru Lhakhang & Shechen Monasteries
Depart Sarangkot and drive to the airport in Pokhara for your flight back to Kathmandu. On arrival, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, head to Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Join the throng of devoted pilgrims performing kora, walking around the sacred site in a clockwise direction. Later, visit the impressive Guru Lhakhang Monastery with its large prayer wheel, located near the stupa. End the day with a visit to Shechen Monastery, one of the six main Nyingma monasteries of Tibet

DAY 9, Tuesday - Pashupatinath, Ancient Patan
Join the optional Mt Everest flightseeing and enjoy an hour of spectacular scenery over Mt Everest, during an early morning flight. Afterward, return to the hotel for breakfast. This morning, view the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pashupatinath, on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. This temple is renowned for its beautiful architecture along with its cremation platforms spread along the river. Venture to the ancient city of Patan known as the "City of Fine Arts." Begin at the main square, filled with stunning Hindu temples and striking Buddhist monuments. View the old Royal Palace, and the 16th century stone Krishna Mandir, with its 21 pinnacles dedicated to Lord Krishna. Other landmarks include the Golden Temple, and the terracotta temple of Mahabouddha

DAY 10, Wednesday - Full Day in Kathmandu
Today is free to explore Kathmandu independently. Perhaps, participate in the optional Half Day Swaymbhunath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Begin the tour at Swayambhunath, a 2,000 year old Buddhist Stupa. This impressive ancient structure crowns the hilltop overlooking the Kathmandu Valley and is one of the most recognizable symbols in Nepal, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, venture to Durbar Square. Stop at sprawling Hanuman Dhoka, ancient palace of Nepalese royalty and the Temple of Kumari, home to Nepal's most important living goddess. View the stone carved statue of ferocious Kal Bhairav, a colorful memorial to the Hindu God of destruction, followed by the magnificent Temple of the Goddess Taleju. Tonight at dinner, bid farewell to your Tour Manager
