Our tour leader was very organized, very positive and friendly. We had excellent local guides at each of our stops.

The hotels were nice but the location in each city was not close to historic areas making it difficult to access on our own. We did not have the "whispers" until the 4th day of our trip making it very difficult to hear the guides. No alternative plans were made when we had rainy days so we did not experience much of Budapest. Some other tours were also cut short. Drive-bys were used so much and outside visits with no entry were very disappointing. Some members of our group expressed disappointment because of their previous experience with Globus. Esztergom Basilica was a waste of time because we could not hear the guide and we were told the art was not part of "our" tour. We climbed the hill to Grassalkovich Palace to find out it was closed. So much of the tour was rushed only to take us back to the hotel. Too little information about public transportation. We became very aware that this was the first trip this year and plans were not really in place. .this tour did not run smoothly.

Three of the five hotels were below expectation. The included meals were awful.

Great experience and very knowledgeable tour guide and local guides.

This trip was amazing and well worth it! Globus went above and beyond to provide us with unique and authentic experiences that we would not have found on our own.
