Questions & Answers Ask A Question
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
We love Gate 1 tours. Excellent quality and value. Perfect itineraries.
Absolutely fantastic tour. We had the best ever tour guide (with an archeology degree), and an excellent bus driver. He even did an impossible 3-point turn in narrow streets!. The itinerary was broad, educational, and a great insight into Turkish culture and modern life. A highlight was lunch - in groups of 6 per house - in the homes of remote mountain farmers, eating food the mothers would cook traditionally. Every stop, every tour, was interesting - from ancient cities to the breathtaking coasts and mountains. Good food too, though sometimes I had no idea what it was! Thanks for making the trip possible.
They did change on of the iteneary and did not notify me but enjoyed going on the ones I had booked
I enjoy Gate1 tours have traveled with them at least 4-5 times and highly recommend them for first time travelers the fellow travelers are always fun. Inviting friends to join the tour is even better. We have made friends traveling on Gate1 and have become travel buddies planning future trips together.
This is one of the best tours I've taken with Gate 1 - terrific guide, great hotels, food, and itinerary.
The guide and driver provided by Gate1 in Turkey were outstanding.
Everything better than expected. A wonderful experience.
Gate 1 did a great Job, Will be planning iIaly next year and my friends know how safe they are. But I only wish they would have taken us to real local places. hey only stopped at Tourist traps and no where else. I wish Gate 1 would read Rick Steve guide books. he gives us the real inside story of a country and the rest is up to us.

1. Too much driving involved. Perhaps they could have avoided visiting Ankara. 2. There were 3 days for optional tour only. In my opinion, it would have been better if they included a half-day tour followed by an optional tour.
