Great trip and tour guide!! Can't wait until we book another tour!
There was quite a bit of walking so travelers need to bring comfortable, walking shoes.
I loved my first Tour... It was a magical experience. Many nice and friendly people and our Director Patrick was wonderful. There were other places I wish I could have seen but not enough time... So much to do!
Full itinerary. Excellent guide. Simone was knowledgeable, attentive and very efficient. Hotels were excellent. Farewell dinner was only negative in my estimation. We had to have 2 rooms, there was no entertainment or farewell speech
This was my first trip with Trafalgar. I was pleased with the pace of the tour, the quality of the hotels, the expertise of the tour director and driver, and the optional activities offered. In the future, however, I will try to find a tour with fewer participants. There were forty-four of us moving through narrow streets, fitting into open boats, grouping inside small rooms, etc. I really don't know how our tour director managed to keep us together. He was amazing.
We preferred the Benelux tour over the Ireland tour mainly because there was so much history about World War 1 and 2. Also, the countryside in Ireland is all green and less varied. Liked the tour, but would not return to Ireland.
We had a lot of days when we have to wake up early and be in places where we have to wait for opening hours. Because of this, I noticed we have a great gap in between activities that we just didn't have anything to do. What a waste of time this created. There should be better planning regarding the schedule for each day.
We all had fun as tour director made it possible for us to be free and express our thought. She was catalyst in making things happen. Bus driver was very good and drove so well we did not feel any motion. he was jovial and friendly. Kept bus very clean.
The hotels were well located and very nice. We did not get to see The Hague. The tour director was excellent but he kept telling us to give him a rating of excellent. In Bruges there should have been an additional horse and buggy. With two we were too crowed to see and take photos. So this optional tour was not a good value.
Great trip. Would take this Tour Company again.
These are amazing countries=clean, freindly people, great food, beer, chocolate, makes the US look dangerous, dirty, and unfriendly.
We were very pleased with the Trafalgar Staff. We considered this trip "Excellent Value." Best Hotels of any of our 12+ trips. Excellent flight itinerary. Very Good included meals. Planning on booking next trip within 6-9 months.
The hotels were very good. However, except for the last hotel the others were not as centrally located as we had all thought. We do like to walk but many others on the tour were older . Hotels should be in a central location. Our Trafalgar tour director and bus driver were outstanding. "Be My Guest" dinner was by far the best dinner we had. The trip was enjoyable and it was a great group.
this tour was what I expected from a moderate cost tour operator.we will diffenately consider booking with Trafalgar in the future.

We have traveled with Trafalgar before and have had great experiences both with the itinerary as well as the tour director. They are wonderful and work very hard to accommodate everyone's needs. Hotels for the most part are always nice and centrally located. We have found that you always once will have one that is not maybe what you'd expect or the location is not as good. With that being said, it is usually an area you are not spending much time in or are doing side trips mostly. It has never been such a concern that would sway be from booking again. The quality is great and the optionals are so worth doing. It immerses you into the culture in a way you would not of done on your own. Again, I can't say enough about the individuals that guide you through this experience. They are fantastic!
