Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
The tour director is the best tour guide whom I ever met. He is very knowledgeable in history. I wish all my tour were done by him
Fantastic tour
The tour director was exceptional, providing historical facts and also many extra little treats in the local area.
I'm not sure if I'll pick Trafalgar again. They're not using local tour directors and as a result I felt we did not get to learn about the local culture, education, politics, etc. This has been offered by Globus and other companies that has significantly enhanced our learning about the countries we travel to. Their optional tours had food combined which I personally did not like. There were too many optional tours that should have been included in the itinerary.
absolutely wonderful trip, tour director and bus driver were excellent, one of those once in a lifetime experiences, will definitely book Trafalgar trips in the future.
One hotel didn't have air conditioning. I think that is expected in a 4 star hotel. Our tour guide was a challenge. Our guides took there groups through the sites or cities and she would take us to one area and then say it's just a short walk or it's rasy darling
The total process from receiving a price quote to returning home from a tour was so easy. Our focus was on our adventure, the people we met along the way, the food and drink we shared and new ways at looking at our world. Many lessons learned and shared. The tour guide was the best...Outstanding. The service from Affordable Tours was outstanding. Thanks you for all you do.
Tour was great. Guide and driver were fantastic. Kurt had so much experience and stories he told made the trip so much more rich . special guides along the way were also top notch. Just remember the hotels in Germany are not air conditioned to what we in Texas think of. Many just had fans and open windows!! some had thermostats but didn't really cool the rooms down even at night.
Several hotel rooms were so small both suitcases could not be opened at the same time. These rooms were only suitable for one person.
Overall, the trip was wonderful. We encountered some minor transportation problems, but the situation was resolved very expediently. The included meals were all excellent and plentiful. A few nights, our hotel was rather far from town center, hence finding restaurants and activities was a bit challenging. Administratively, our tour director was magnificent. Every detail and accommodation were met. The only negative feedback is the narration. While he gave us a lot of good information and cultural education on the tour bus, the orientation talk and narration on the actual walk was quite brief. As compared to past experiences with other tour guides, they gave us more info and guidance. Aside from these minor critiques, the Best of Germany was a great vacation.
Trafalgar, was a delight, the tour experience was everything we hoped for! Thank you for your help
Trip was wonderful-packed with history, sites, and fun. Felt we really experienced Germany. Tour guide was so well informed and took such good care of us. Only one accommodation was poor, rest were very good to excellent. We had a marvelous time and love our Trafalgar tours....nobody does it better in our opinion.
Both, London and Germany trips were wonderful. Lots of history and beautiful architectures.
I have been happy with all the Trafalgar tours I've booked.
Our tour with Trafalgar was 1st class. Better than I had expected. All Hotels were 4 or 5 star, the food was amazing, and the guide was the best.

Food quality for included meals could be improved. Also not much variety. One or two of the older hotels used could be changed. Some occasions encountered include: Phone not working; Only one chair in the room; Blocked sink drainage; Hazardous bath design; and Usually only one English language TV channel available or none at all.
