I enjoyed the tour destinations. The food and hotel locations were good. I believe there should be at least a two night stay in Niagara Falls in order to allow time to explore the city during free time and during daylight hours. I did not like arriving in the major cities around 5pm because it does not allow enough free time during daylight hours and thats important to me being a single female and not feeling completely safe wondering around at night in a foreign country. All of my hotel rooms were facing the street which did not allow for a good night sleep due to noise. Please request better room assignments for your tour groups. I was on a bus with almost 50 people. The bus only had one door for loading and unloading which took allot of time when getting on and off. It would be better with a bus and that has two doors especially with that amount of people onboard. The bus driver Ron was a good driver, very professional and very informative. On the other hand, the tour director Patsy seem to lack the experience and knowledge to do this tour. She constantly said she did not know Toronto so most of our information came from the bus driver. I wished we had a local guide. Although she said she said she didnt know Toronto, it appeared that she wasnt very familiar with the other cities either because she constantly fumbled when giving information and was often corrected be either other passengers or the bus driver. She was bad with directions. She would often tell you to look right, when she meant to look left. By the time she corrects herself we missed the point of interest. She has not mastered the English language and therefore was often struggling when relaying information to us. She always seemed unorganized and was late to the bus on a couple of mornings for the tour. She told us that she had 5 years experience but performed as if this was her first tour. She needs allot more training to become good at this job. I have a high standard of the duties that should be performed by the tour director because I have traveled at least 3 times with Trafalgar and about 5 times with your sister company, Insight Vacations. All my previous trips have had excellent tour directors who were very organized, very professional, very informative, and had an engaging personality. This is the reason I keep traveling with these companies.
