Great, very professional team assembled by Trafalgar
My trip was beyond my expectation , I was glad I took this trip of best of Sicily and Italy during the age of pandemic , big advantage was less tourist , people are more pleasant and accommodating , it was truly an experienced and worth every penny I spent, Im already planning my next year trip.
The Trafalgar Tour Director was very well organized and customer friendly. Affordable Staff also was helpful and courteous. This is our 3rd Trafalgar trip and 2nd hoofing with Affordable and I highly recommend both.
Would have liked a smaller group, 48 people was a lot to keep coordinated, especially in the narrow streets of Italy. The headsets were extremely helpful and operated well. Physical capability should be stressed in advertising this tour.
Some hotel rooms were extremely small and others one were not clean.
A couple of hotels early in the trip (Rome & Florence as I recall) were quite small. I think the typical US traveler is not used to that and should be reminded of same.
Our tour guide was extremely helpful in meeting all our needs. She was our "Mommy" and made all 21 of us become a family on this trip. She was delightful, informative and very knowledgeable of all of the locations we visited. I would love to take another trip with her. Also, our driver could not have been more careful of all of the hazards of Italian driving. Took the dangerous curves with the greatest of ease.
