Questions & Answers Ask A Question
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
The rooms were fine. Some of the showers difficult to get into because of the height of the bathtub. Some of the tour guests had to take sponge baths because they couldn’t get into the shower safely. Hotels did not have enough fans for guests when the weather got warm . The rooms were very uncomfortable when the weather warmed.
Our director was fantastic! Knowledgeable, organized, friendly to everyone! Would do a tour with her again!
Found that the bus ride on several days was a bit long.
The included tour and suggested tour in London were not on a par with the rest of the trip, but they were the only disappointments.
I found my day was on the bus and the days were jam packed too much so. Some stops were for very little Gretna green for one little to see a money grab same with Shakespeare's grave lots of places to shop and a few minutes at the grace although I did pay my respects. The Irish and Scottish show we were packed in like sardines worried about the fire code felt they get as many in as possible for the money and then present a show which was too long same for Ireland. You don't feel appreciated by the host country like they're making the most money while loading too many people together as opposed to a symphony concert in Vienna with those signed for it our own group.
The first day in London was a waste of time, the guide walked the group by Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the Parliament then to the park with Lincoln and Churchill"s statue . She was so preoccupied with women's rights issues taking us to a suffragette's statue instead of Mr. Churchill's. We had to insist to continue there. Out of the 5 included dinners 2 or 3 were substandard. Example:The Liverpool Regional meal , the steak was really a poor imitation of a steak sandwich, with a minuscule wilted salad and similarly wilted cheap french fries. The one day hotel stay days do not provide much time sightseeing. Due to the huge distances it might be beneficial to eliminate Liverpool entirely, instead fly the group directly to Edinburgh. The Lake district is lovely, but not essential. The Tour could be trimmed to 9-10 days this way.
THE TOUR WAS CONDUCTED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER AND OUR TOUR GUIDE PAUL FLEMING WAS SUPERB THE ACCOMMODATIONS WERE GENERALLY VERY GOOD ALTHOUGH IN SEVERAL VENUES THE HOTELS WERE NOT CONVENIENT FOR WALKING TO THE CENTER OF THE CITY, ESPECIALLY IN DUBLIN.
My first tour was excellent. Food great. Rooms clean and lovely. The whole group all got alone well and had alot of fun. And the weather was great all trip. No rain except when on bus. LUCKY US. thanx
Very happy with my trip arrangements. All of my question were answered very promptly and thoroughly. My trip was everything I expected and more. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
We truly enjoyed our vacation. The only issues we had were that 3 times we had single beds. Also some of the meals provided were below standard. Otherwise the guide and driver were excellent. Definetely book another trip. Thanks
