DAY 2, Sunday - Arrive in Heraklion
Arrive in Heraklion, capital city of Crete, and transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day is at leisure. Your tour begins with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 4 PM

DAY 3, Monday - Heraklion Walking Tour, Heraklion Archaeological Museum
Embark on a walking tour of Heraklion. View the harbor, the Venetian fortress of Koules, the Byzantine Church of Saint Titus and Lions Square, with its Morosini fountain. Later, visit the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, boasting a magnificent collection of artifacts from the Minoan civilization including finds from Knossos, dating back to the Bronze Age. Walk through exhibits covering over 5,000 years of Crete's history. After lunch at a local restaurant, spend the afternoon at leisure. Linger in town and check out the central market

DAY 4, Tuesday - Cruise Embarkation
Today, transfer to the pier for embarkation. After arrival formalities, have lunch on board. Your first night will give you the opportunity to relax, indulge in your all-inclusive hospitality and anticipate the adventures ahead on your very own Aegean Odyssey of discovery

DAY 5, Wednesday - Explore Santorini
At 7 AM, cruise into Santorini's caldera as you marvel at the sapphire blue water, snow-white architecture and multicolored cliffs that characterize this enchanting getaway. The streets of bustling Fira, the island's capital city, are a vision of pristine whitewashed buildings. The stunning Oia Village built on the caldera rim, is an excellent example of Cycladic architecture. Explore the village and stroll along the cobblestone streets, admiring views of whitewashed houses with blue shutters. Tonight, discover Santorini's delightful restaurants and nightlife, before setting sail after midnight

DAY 6, Thursday - Arrive in Mykonos
Arrive in the ultra-popular and chic jet-set island of Mykonos with its whitewashed houses, iconic windmills, and sophisticated town with trendy cafes and boutiques. Find a table at a harborside taverna and gaze at the bustle of Cycladic island life and the gorgeous views. Perhaps visit one of the island's popular night clubs before returning to the ship

DAY 7, Friday - Early Departure from Mykonos, Milos
Set sail from Mykonos early this morning at 2 AM, continuing on to Milos, the southwestern most island of the Cyclades. Arrive in Milos at 9 AM. The morning is yours to discover all of the delights in this splendid island, from 80 beautiful beaches with crystal-clear turquoise waters to white-washed Cycladic villages, delectable food, and friendly people. Walk around Plaka, the charming capital, or visit the bustling harbor of Adamantas. Return to the ship at 7 PM to resume your cruising to Athens

DAY 8, Saturday - Athens City Tour
The exploration of Athens begins with a panoramic drive through the city center. View the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament with the colorfully-costumed Evzone guards, the ruins of the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch. Stop at the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896. Continue with a walk around Plaka, the oldest neighborhood in Athens. View the Acropolis, the ancient architectural masterpiece built during the Golden Age of Athens and the new Acropolis Museum. The tour ends in Omonia Square in downtown Athens. Later, continue cruising towards Thessaloniki

DAY 9, Sunday - Arrive in Thessaloniki
This morning, arrive in Thessaloniki and discover the city's ancient sites and distinct local flavors on your own. Palm-lined avenues house fashionable shops and gourmet restaurants, along with traditional tavernas and ouzerias to satisfy everyone's taste buds. Explore historic landmarks including the iconic White Tower, Arch of Galerius, the Rotunda, the Greek Agora and Roman Forum as well as the Byzantine church of Saint Demetrios, patron of Thessaloniki. DAY 10, Monday - Kusadasi
Today, arrive in Kusadasi, Turkey. This splendid city is renowned for its significant historic and religious sites, including ancient Ephesus, one of the most exquisite cities in antiquity. Tour the magnificent archaeological site of Ephesus, home to the Library of Celsus and Fountain of Trajan. Continue to the House of Virgin Mary, believed to be the place where Virgin Mary spent her final days. Time at leisure in Kusadasi to explore the shops and cafes before returning to the ship

DAY 11, Tuesday - Disembarkation, Countryside of Crete Tour
Disembark your cruise this morning, and begin your exploration of the Cretan countryside. Pass through Episkopi and Sgourokefali before arriving at the traditional village of Stironas. Here, you will see how the Cretans lived centuries ago. Visit a botanical garden, home to various aromatic and medicinal herbs from the mountains of Crete. Next, venture to a raki distiller and sample the product straight from the barrels in his cellar. Gain insight into its production and enjoy Cretan meze with pure local olive oil and traditional folk show. Later, head back to historic Heraklion. View some of the city's highlights, including the 'Koules' fortress, Venetian Loggia, Basilica of St Mark, medieval monastery of St Catherine and the Cathedral of Agios Minas. Check into the hotel for overnight
