Tour Itinerary
Welcome to Germany! Arrive in Munich and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend at your leisure (there is no meet and greet service on day 01). You can discover all that the capital of the state of Bavaria is famous for, including its Oktoberfest, which is annually celebrated in September.
Today, meet your guide and prepare for an incredible journey. Visit the city's main attractions, concluding the tour at the Marienplatz square with its famous clock tower. After visiting the main attractions, the afternoon is free to continue to explore at your leisure. You can go North to discover the Olympic Park of Munich, stay in the inner ring and explore the Englischer Garten, or get to Dachau to visit the Concentration Camp Memorial Site, or enjoy anything else the city has to offer. Overnight in Munich.
After breakfast, start your day excursion to Berchtesgaden. Berchtesgaden is a typical traditional Alpine village at the foot of Mount Watzmann. Berchtesgaden National Park, created in 1978, is the only national alpine park in Germany. The park was designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1990 for the protection of its breathtaking landscape. The region's attractions include the salt mines, Lake Königssee and Obersalzberg with the Eagle's Nest, once the site of Hitler's mountain retreat. After a visit to the infamous Eagle's Nest (depending on the weather conditions), you also have time to take a boat tour on Lake Königssee (not included)! In the afternoon, return to Munich.
This morning travel, to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of this lovely medieval town, concluding with a Schneeballen (snow ball) tasting, a pastry considered the signature dish of Rothenburg and incredibly tasty. Next, travel to Nuremberg. Visit Nuremberg's historic city center and learn more about its impressive and extensive history with a tour of the well-preserved castle, Gothic churches, romantic houses and peaceful squares. Stay overnight Nuremberg.
Today, visit the Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Ground. Even today, the gigantic remains of buildings in the southern districts of Nuremberg are a reminder of the megalomania of the National Socialist regime, and the grim years of the twentieth century. Spanning eleven square kilometers, this location became a monumental backdrop for the self-staging of the Nazi Party. Today the unfinished Congress Hall houses the Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Grounds. Overnight in Nuremberg.
In the morning, travel from Nuremberg to Würzburg. Würzburg is a beautiful town on the banks of the Main, which you are sure to enjoy. Partake in a sightseeing tour of the city, and take in its rich culture. One of the tour highlights is a visit to the Residenz Palace in Würzburg, built in 1744. Afterwards, it's on to Frankfurt. On the way to Frankfurt, make a brief stop at the Mespelbrunn Castle, a charming castle with accompanying moat! Spend the rest of the evening in Frankfurt however you please, and overnight in the hotel.
After breakfast, a transfer awaits to bring you to Frankfurt Airport for your return flight home. (Note: This tour is designed for the independent traveler that wants private touring and transfers from airport to hotel, hotel to airport and from city to city. There is free time (as noted on the itinerary) as well as private touring as noted. This is designed for parties of 2-6. Your tour land price is per person based on two (2) people sharing a twin or double room. When a single room is booked, a single supplement will apply. Note. the price noted is for when 2 people are traveling. The price will DECREASE with additional passengers booked in double/triple rooms.

Tour date is the date the tour starts in Germany. Please book your airfare accordingly (to allow for overnight flights). If you arrive prior to the tour or stay longer, transfers will not be included when not on arrival and departure dates and must be purchased separately. Additional hotel nights in Munich or Frankfurt can be booked as needed.
