Questions & Answers Ask A Question
Question: We want the trip in 2024. Is this possible?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
I've taken CIE tours before and we had a tour director and a driver. Peter, our guide/driver was great but it seemed that something was missing. I understand that CIE wants to promote some local businesses but we drove 53 minutes to have dinner and a show with mediocre musicians. Surely, there are many places in Dublin that offer the same entertainment.
The tour we were rebooked on was fine, but not the one we were originally wanted. I was not happy with it costing me an extra $300 because of the change. This was for an extra covid test to enter Northern Ireland, which I was told we would not have to take. Also for meals on the extra day we spent in Dublin. We had the taxi to the airport booked, but our flight was changed at midnight the night before. I called to change the time of pick up because it would be 2 hours earlier and they did not answer the phone, so had to pay the cab fare.
