We had a wonderful tour - our challenges came from flying and bags not delivered for nine days which had nothing to do with your tour company. The only issue most on the tour had to do with having an evening only in Inverness which was a major interest for many of us. I could have skipped Orkney or only a morning visit so we’d have had a full day in Inverness.

The Scottish Isle and Glens tour with CIE was great. We would have liked to visit a few more islands but the schedule was quite packed. There were a number of places that had difficult walking and a woman in our group tried to attend them but had to sit out a lot. I would recommend that CIE rates their tour for activity level and walking/hiking ease (cobblestone streets, hike up rather large hills etc.) Athletic or in-shape people had no trouble, though. Lots of memories were made.
