DAY 5, Wednesday - Full Day in Dublin
On your last day at leisure, join the optional Book of Kells & Dublin Castle Tour. This morning, gain early access to Trinity College, showcasing the renowned 7th century Book of Kells, a lavishly illustrated manuscript on display in the Old Library. Then, explore the "Turning Darkness into Light" exhibition and learn how the book was beautifully and meticulously illustrated using a special painting technique. Later, visit Dublin Castle. Originally built in the 13th century on a site settled by the Vikings, the castle functioned as a military fortress, prison, treasury and the seat of English Administration in Ireland for 700 years.
