Tremendous and outstanding professionalism from our tour guide. She made our tour easy-going and enjoyable to follow, I will recommend her, and absolutely I will be using cosmos again
I thought the tour guides you had on staff were amazing. It really made the tour great. Everything was very clear and made me comfortable. I plan on using your services again soon.
Our tour director, Giuseppe, was exceptional; his knowledge base was outstanding and he did a great job managing 44 people! Our bus drivers, Antonio in Italy and Panajotis in Greece were masters of their craft. Bus in Italy was great; Greek buses were marginal. Our local guides were great, too, particularly Stefan in Rome. In Rome, the Villa Maria Regina hotel needs to be changed. It's poorly located, has bed bugs, poor ac in the rooms and the staff were surly. The B&B hotel in Florence is very well located, but feels like a college dorm; tired and worn. Florence included dinner was marginal. Antoni Palace Hotel in Venice is not in an ideal location, but is better located than the Poppi Hotel listed in the Cosmos brochure. Also, the dinner included at Antoni was quite poor and the tour director warned us that it would be. I would encourage Cosmos to offer a dinner coupon at a nearby restaurant should any of the guests choose to eat elsewhere. Cosmos needs to re-word their ferry description from 'overnight' to 24-hour. You are also responsible for carrying all of your luggage through customs and onto the ferry. Additionally, the ferry was 5 hours late leaving Ancona (11:30p) and arrived in Patras at 11:30p. From there, we had another 2 hour bus ride to Olympia. All the Greek hotels were well located and quite nice. Verona & Olympia guides were great; Nauplia was a wonderful treat as was Mycenae. Excursions: Rome dinner was great; need more time at the Sistine Chapel or advise guests to skip going to bathroom/cafe; Uffizi Gallery was good; very poor meal for Venice evening; skip the gondola ride; Olympia tour was good, but we were exhausted from arriving at 1:30a and up at 6:00a for the tour; Athens final night lots of fun. Great trip overall with lots of warm and friendly co-travelers!
The Italy/Greece trip was a tremendous value. Our tour director Armando from Cosmos did a great job guiding us throughout the tour. I highly recommended this tour.
This was our first trip with a Guided Tour Group and it greatly exceeded our expectations. Our Tour Director and Bus Driver were exceptional, and we were able to explore Europe in a most thorough manner. From beginning to end, everything was handled for us which made it very easy. We could have never done this on our own. Thank you for an amazing travel experience.
If you are on a budget like us, I'll say it was excellent. Overall we got what we paid for. In Italy rooms were not bad, but they were not a 4 Star hotel in my opinion. worse part was customer service. In Greece was a complete different history, nicer rooms in beautiful location, but the most important part for me, every hotel we stayed, from front desk personnel, restaurant to housekeeping, very helpful, friendly people. Definitely i will book my next trip with you.
Cosmos as a corporation did a terrible job on this tour trying to cut corners. Hotels was terrible, the location was worst and the food was really not up to par. I always give cosmos great review but this trip was extremely bad service. The tour director and drivers was amazing. I have to blame this one on Cosmos. This might be my last travel with Cosmos as I dont want to find out if this type of service will reoccur again.
A few of the accommodations were only 2 star while others were 4 star. And some were 20 min away from town center, but along a bus route. Free time was very sufficient. Enough, but not too much. Overall a great trip!
Based on my trip experience, the places we visited you could not have gotten that by doing a cruise. Can't wait to book my next trip.
Affordable Tours is very professional. For the tour, Cosmos hotel in Italy need to be change because is far from downtown, the overnight Ferry food breakfast need to improve. Air Canada is not recommended .
Awesome trip...no problem whatsoever...
Our tour guide was awesome and very professional!! The drivers were great and it was a fantastic experience.
I expected less than Globus, but the bathrooms were horrible and the tour guide's accent was so strong I could not understand most of what he said. I disliked not having a restaurant in the hotels we stayed in. However, all hotels provided a good breakfast.

The cabin on the ferry was gross. Mold/Mildew on walls and floor of bathroom. We would not use the shower because of it. I’m sure the ferry was beautiful years ago, now it is awful.
