Question: I am bringing my 12 and 14 yer old grandchildren with me. Can we stay in one room?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
1. Some of the optional excursions stated in the tour itinerary were not available on the tour start date. Many of these optional excursions played a role in my choosing this trip. It was hard to learn on the day of arrival that some excursions were no longer offered! After hearing this, some members booked these missing excursions on their own with their respective tour operators. 2. The tour director was good, but did little to earn a high rating. For example, no one received a welcome email from the Director to introduce himself and provide other information as stated in the brochure. There were also many other services that the tour directors from my prior two Trafalgar tours provided that were exceptional in comparison! Maybe the last tour director is unaware of what he could have done to obtain a high rating. I will be glad to provide details on what the prior tour directors did to make the tour truly memorable! This will help Trafalgar educate their tour guides on how they can earn high ratings. 3. Most of the accommodations met the level of luxury expected from Trafalgar, but two fell below this level. In one location, there were mice running across the dining room! Again, I'm happy to provide more details if requested. 4. The tour is listed as 10 days, but the first is a welcome reception and the last day is a departure day. When factoring in tips for the tour guide and driver, is the 'per day' recommendation to include these days?
This was my second tour with Trafalgar. They are an outstanding organization. In addition, I have had many trips with Affordable Tours arranged by our consultant. She is an Angel.
The Alaskan adventure was spectacular. The train and boat trips exceeded expectations. Everything is expensive in Alaska and some hotels were simply what is available in the wilderness.
Majestic Alaska was truly an experience of a lifetime. The tour supervisor was experienced ensured safe and comfortable experiences for all.
This was our first guided tour. We did have some trouble waking up early, but we saw many more sights than we would have seen on our own, and there was some free time as well. All the guides were top-notch.
Our first hotel was not very good but then again I don't think that city,Fairbanks, has much to offer.
