Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
We loved seeing all of the cities in Slovenia and Croatia. There was a lot of time on the bus, but that was necessary to see it all. The salt caves and Plitvice National Park were so amazing!!! We got some Euro for Slovenia and Kuna for Croatia before leaving home for small purchases. Most places took credit cards, but you need to ask first. Our travel guide and driver were professional and knowledgeable. The local guides were all great too. Pack good walking shoes and explore two beautiful countries.
The itinerary was well-considered to highlight the best of Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia-H. The national park in Croatia is the best! Our local guide, Wentz, has a totally wicket wit, which is wonderful, considering he expressed himself in a 2nd language.
The trip was very fast paced. It would have been nice to have more time in several of these towns.
The tour package is well planned and covered areas of interest are interesting, educational and scenic, except the time spent during visits to places are too short. The distance driven were also a bit long but could be improved. Good luck!
We covered a lot of territory in a short time, but understand you don't get to spend much time at any one place because of time constraints. Be prepared for long bus rides. Also, too many border crossings and passport checks that wasted a lot of time. The neighboring countries obviously don't like each other so they make it as inconvenient as possible go through each border. Be that as it may, we can say we saw lots of places. The tour guide and driver were extremely efficient and pleasant considering the pressure they were on to follow the schedule. The value is there.
The tour was so beautiful, enjoy the scenic ride all the way. Highly recommented !
The distances traveled each day were extensive. It would have better prepared us to know this. In order to get from place to place, 6am wake-up calls were necessary. That being said, tour provided frequent and welcome rest stops. OK
Great tour! Guide and city guides pleasant and knowledgeable. This is our third Cosmos tour and all three have met our expectations. Will go again!
We had an excellent tour guide and driver but unfortunately they were not synchronized - many times, we would hear an explanation that did not match what we saw. The bus would not slow down as expected & the great explanation was lost on us; very unfortunate! Traveling is in great part a learning experience, so fine tuning the coordination between driver & guide should always be emphasized in their training.
The tour itself was tough perhaps a little more info on the quality of the tour itself. The bus had too little leg room too much territory covered in such a short time and not enough time spent in cities and places that were beautiful. The dinners that were provided with the tour were chicken and more chicken.
