DAY 2, Saturday - Arrive in Paris, Transfer to Versailles
Arrive in Paris and transfer to your hotel in Versailles, known for its splendid palace. The rest of the day is at leisure. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM, followed by a light dinner. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 4 PM

DAY 3, Sunday - Travel to Normandy, Cliffs of Étretat Trail, Historic Honfleur
Travel to the coastal town of Étretat in Normandy, and embark on a hike along the famed limestone cliffs of Étretat. The views of the white cliffs overlooking the bright azure waters are unforgettable. In the afternoon, cross the Seine Estuary and visit the town of Honfleur with its colorful harbor, immortalized by several of the world's greatest impressionist painters. Stroll through the cobbled streets lined with half-timbered houses and learn about Honfleur's enthralling history. Afterward, continue to Trouville and check into your hotel

DAY 4, Monday - Boardwak of Deauville, Normandy Landing Beaches, Cherbourg
Begin the day with a walk on the famous boardwalk of Deauville, over 2000-feet long. Then, drive to the historic Landing Beaches. Pay your respects at the American Cemetery, located on a cliff overlooking Omaha Beach. Learn more about D-Day and the landing operations during a lecture. Afterward, walk the historic trail along Omaha Beach. Later, depart for Cherbourg and arrive at the hotel in time for dinner

DAY 5, Tuesday - North Coast of Cotentin Peninsula Hike
Travel to Auderville this morning, and embark on a hike along the north coast of the Cotentin Peninsula. Admire the diverse landscapes along the rugged Normandy coastline. View the Goury Lighthouse and catch a glimpse of the Channel Islands. Follow the path along dry stone walls to Cap de la Hague, offering splendid views of the area. Afterward, head back to your hotel in the afternoon

DAY 6, Wednesday - Cancale, Grouin Headland Trail, Saint-Malo
Depart Normandy and head toward the craggy coast of northwestern France to the fishing town of Cancale, known as Britanny's oyster capital. The trail along the beautiful Brittany coastline offers views of steep cliffs, sandy beaches, and the Bay of Mont St. Michel. Following the hike, drive to Saint-Malo and check into your hotel

DAY 7, Thursday - Hike Cap Fréhel
This morning, drive to Cap Fréhel peninsula in northern Brittany, and hike the coastal path that goes around Cap Fréhel, and through a colorful landscape covered with fushia-hued heather and vibrant flowers. Along the way, discover the lighthouse of Cap Fréhel and marvel at the panoramic views of the Bay of Saint-Brieuc, and the Emerald Coast. Return to the hotel in mid-afternoon

DAY 8, Friday - Mont St Michel, TGV Train to Paris

Walk along the narrow cobbled streets to the hilltop to visit the 10th century abbey, dedicated to the Archangel Michael, and learn about the monastery's history. Afterward, free time to explore the medieval village and its ramparts. Travel to Rennes train station and board the high-speed TGV train to Paris. DAY 9, Saturday - Explore Paris
The exploration of Paris begins at Montparnasse Cemetery, the burial site of numerous influential figures, including Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, and Charles Baudelaire. Next, head to Luxembourg Gardens, and admire the beautiful fountains, manicured gardens, and the magnificent Luxembourg Palace. From here, explore the Odéon area, known for its historic theater, and lively surroundings. Continue to the celebrated Latin Quarter, home to many of France's higher education establishments. Following lunch at a typical brasserie, take a panoramic tour that includes a drive along the Champs Elysées to the Arc de Triomphe. View the iconic Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, Notre Dame de Paris, and the Louvre
