The Tour Director was professional, detailed and knowledgeable. We were well guided and oriented on what to expect to the places that where going to.

Trafalgar kept the schedule. The tour guide was professional and knowledgeable. The sights were incredible.

Kassie recognized that I would have challenges without her extra ordinary help I don't know how I would have completed this tour and because of her I was able to enjoy this trip Lois was always there keeping an eye out for everyone and the bus driver Amaro was always very helpful and an excellent driver

Coach trips can get long. After 8 hours, I'd had enough of sitting. Luckily only happened a couple of days, and they stop every two hours of so for restroom breaks. Recommend taking snacks and drinks and something to do on the longer days (tablet, book etc.)

We took Spain, Morocco, Portugal trip, 16 days package of Trafalgar, booked through Affordable Tours. We had an exceptionally good tour Director Javier. Entire tour was fun filled, visited historic places and landscapes, good food. We took all the optional tours offered and happy that they were well worth including some special dinners. September is a great month to travel in-these places.

Our traveler director was the absolute best. Nunno is a treasure! Trafalgar is lucky to have someone that is so dedicated to ensuring that everyone on his tour feels special, he is gifted.

Some hotels were below expectations (Corona Sol for example) and felt more like a sparsely appointed college dormitory.

Every trip with gets better and better. A great value for the cost.

Some hotels were not up to standard for this tour. But most hotels were nice.

There were 4 in our family group. We wish we would have been provided with more information on tipping and catching taxis. We had to ask to ask in each country (3 countries). Local guides and primary guide were vague or seem uncomfortable with answering questions on tipping (restaurants, taxis). Also in Morroco, we were told that the markets closed after a certain time, yet when we went there to the market areas after the time we were told would be closed to eat, we found several stores/markets still open as late as 11:00 pm. We made several purchases after dinner. My daughter-in-law had to leave the tour early as she just started a new job and did not have enough vacation days. I asked if we would be able to receive a partially refund for the days she was not there as I provided this info and request at time of tour purchase. I can understand for the hotel as my son would still be using the hotel rooms. However a small refund for the meals would have been nice especially those not at the hotel but at separate restaurants and any site entry fees that needed to to paid on the day of the visit.

Out of the 10 hotels, 2 were definitely outstanding and exceeded expectations, 1 had an older room but beautiful gardens, 2 (Tangier and Granada) were so deficient that complaints were put in writing to the tour director. The balance had some deficiencies and some nice aspects...basically so/so. We wondered why all but 2 only had one luggage rack...with twin beds, would one not expect at least each person would have a suitcase? Older ladies to not appreciate crawling on the floor to get into their suitcase. CostCutter seemed to be going to all the same places as Trafalgar in the same size bus...for the price difference I am not sure their rooms were any worse than ours...ours were not always located near any downtown or scenic spots.

The travel director/local guides and drivers were great, extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was a bit traumatized by going to theMedina in Fes-the foul odors and poop everywhere was not pleasant. I keep an open mind but I feel if we were informed about what to expect then we would have been prepared. Overall Still enjoyed the trip

Too long in Morroco felt trip was designed to push purchases

Just let future buyers know that there are long days of bus time on this tour. Also that the single supplement does not include a single seat on the coach.

Affordable Tours delivered as promised. The price we paid was very good with the discounts provided. Our trip package with the information about our trip arrived about 2 weeks before departure and was complete with everything we needed. Sunny from Affordable Tours was great to work with and she was very professional.

We enjoyed the trip very much. The tour Guide was knowledgeable and explained the places we visited.

Our Travel Director was outstanding, as well as our coach driver. Great!!!!

This was a great trip. The Tour Director on this tour was one of the best, if not the best directors in the business. The driver was great and one of the best. The overall tour, food, lodging, and itinerary I would rate a 9 out of a possible 10.

The tour director was knowledgeable, always on time, answered questions, and always had the agenda for the next day on display in hotel lobby. He did a very good job. A number of the "included tours" were very short and simply poor. With simple changes, they could really have been much better. A little too concerned with selling the optional tours. The hotels were at least 4 star. The welcome reception and farewell dinner were excellent. The coach and driver were top notch.

Too much travel and not enough time to enjoy the best places. Could have skipped Fez and given us more time in Casablanca and Tangiers. Also needed extra day in Marbella

Some comments - 1. Our room at The Golden Tulip Hotel in Rabat had a plumbing issue - The tub didn't drain and dirty water (not from my shower) was feeding back into the tub. Other than this, all other accommodations are great. By the way, I am not the only one who had problem with my room in Golden Tulip.

2. We took all optional tours but the one of the Gypsy Corner. All of them were very well done - with good guides and local flares. Most of them came with dinner of authentic local cousin. I strongly recommend these 'optional experiences', though I think it would be nice for Trafalgar to incorporate some into the regular (included) program (with higher package price, as expected). I normally do not like to take the optional packages, but I am very glad that I accepted these.

3. This trip is an eye-opener for me on the Moorish architecture. I have seen a lot of churches, cathedrals and palaces, but none are like these (seen in Spain, Portugal an Morocco). Please don't get me wrong - The traditional Gothic, Roman, Rococo churches and the temples in the orient are all very great and beautiful, but the Moorish design has a different and unique beauty. It has elegance, precision, and harmony.

I was not pleased with the number of travelers on our coach. We had fifty-one and had to sit five across the back seat for a 6 to 8 hour ride. This was not only uncomfortable but we felt a safety hazard. Our tour guide and bus driver were both excellent but because of the conditions I would not travel with Trafalgar again.

I should of book later in the Spring as the weather was cold & raining. My roommate was a pain with snoring, etc. Other than these 2 issues the trip was very interesting. Thanks

After touring with both Globus and Trafalgar, we feel that Globus offers better value. Trafalgar felt rushed in many places and failed to include tours of important places. No major attractions were included in Madrid and very little time was available to see important sights. Previous experience with Globus had included at least one major sight in each city. The quality of the Tour Directors and Drivers were excellent for both companies.

Some of the hotels were not so good as we thought. The local guides were too fast in their explanations, specially in Lisbon, when she never told us that the bus would change the parking lot and my husband got lost. Impossible to have a kind of lunch; we had 1/2 hr stops and we were 43 people in the tour. Long lines in the restrooms & in the cafeterias.

We had the best tour director he had a really great sense of humor that made us enjoy the trip even more.
