- Egypt is not an unsafe country, but it's safe to explore the country on an organized tour. By researching Egypt tours on Affordable Tours already, you're making the best first step possible!
- Make sure to exchange some of your currency for Egyptian Pounds. While many places will accept your credit card, it's safest always to make sure to have some local currency just in case while traveling.
- Keep in mind that there is nothing genuinely free in Egypt, including taking pictures at places like the pyramids. If you're caught taking photos, you may be asked to donate a small bit of money to the owner.

Reviews for Egypt Tours and Vacations
Tour was great everything listed in the trip and then some was there as listed. Very little out of pocket money was needed for shopping. Meals and drink ticket with very good selections. Staff on both land and sea were above what was exspected. Would recommend this trip to everyone.
The excursion to Memphis/Sakkara and to the west bank should be standard on the trip and NOT an option. Both are so important on this trip and making them optional does not make any sense.
I had a wonderful time on my trip to Egypt. My tour guide Dina was so knowledgeable about Egypt it was astounding. I loved the trip and she made it a perfect experience. I would definately travel with Gate 1 and Affordable tours again
