Next, we will visit the Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. From Þingvellir we will continue towards Gullfoss Waterfall. The waterfall is the most famous of the country’s numerous waterfalls. We will also pay a visit to the Geysir Geothermal area, the place where the word “geyser” originates. After exploring the geysers it’s time for lunch at Efstidalur farm. In Efstidalur you will get a unique and different experience. Right in the middle of the Golden Circle, you get a glance of the farm life in Iceland. Norwegian is going the extra mile to ensure your safety on board and on shore. With Norwegian's Peace of Mind, you can cruise safely with enhanced health and safety protocols and flexible booking. Norwegian has been working closely with the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) and are adding stringent protocols, strategic application and supporting innovation to meet and exceed their standards once those have been finalized by them. The below are the safety measures Norwegian will immediately be implementing fleetwide, with more in development.
ALL-NEW AIR FILTRATION
Installation of medical-grade air-filters, H13 HEPA, that remove 99.95% of airborne pathogens across Norwegian's entire fleet to ensure the air you breathe is clean.
ENHANCED SCREENING PROTOCOLS
All guests will undergo an enhanced pre-embarkation health screening, and those considered at risk will undergo additional screening. Additionally, all crew will undergo extensive screening prior to embarkation and constant monitoring throughout the voyage. Touchless temperature checks and continuous monitoring of guests and crew throughout the voyage will help identify potential health issues, offering an additional layer of prevention and protection.
INCREASED SANITATION MEASURES
All ships are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to every voyage in accordance with company protocols, which are developed in partnership with CDC's Vessel Sanitation Program. Embarkation terminals will be sanitized continuously, and, where possible, fogged before and after each embarkation and debarkation. Further, all staterooms, suites and public areas will be cleaned, sanitized and disinfected at an increased frequency, and including the use of Electrostatic Spray Technology.
RESPONSIBLE SOCIAL DISTANCING
To provide even more space for responsible social distancing, guest capacity on board will be reduced. Staggered embarkation and online check-in will be implemented for proper social distancing. In addition, Norwegian is committed to reducing capacity in all public areas throughout the voyage.
ENHANCED MEDICAL RESOURCES
Onboard medical centers will be fully equipped with the latest testing kits and medical supplies. Norwegian is also increasing the medical team fleetwide. Additionally, each ship has dedicated isolation accommodations should the need arise.
EXTENDED SHIP TO SHORE SAFETY
- Norwegian is partnering with local destinations and tour operators to ensure their industry-leading health and sanitation protocols extend to the shoreside experience.
- Norwegian will only visit safe, open ports of call which may cause changes to your itinerary. Keeping the guests up-to-date with the latest confirmed changes impacting their itineraries is a top priority.

Fabulous cruise!
We had a great time on our NCL Getaway Bermuda/ Bahamas Cruise. We want to go to another cruise with NCL again soon (and we are not retired yet) as schedule allow.
The ship is well maintained, clean and well staffed. Everyone is so cordial and helpful and always greet you with a smile.
This was a great choice for seeing the Panama Canal. NCL always does a great job.
We love cruising with Norwegian. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is really good and plentiful, and the excursions are really nice. My only complaint would be that internet is basically a utility now, like water or electricity. Hopefully in the future, at least the basic, non-streaming internet could be included in the price of the cruise.
Our agent listened and then offered the perfect vacation package for me. He found the NCL cruise for the date and price and then even chose the cabin! My trip was a delight. He is much appreciated. A highlight of the NCL cruise was providing a host for the solo travelers. We were a congenial group that enjoyed sharing the experiences of the day with our excursions, and conversation and company every evening for dinner for those who wanted to participate. It was definitely a plus for NCL!

Everything met or exceeded my expectations
The NCL transatlantic cruise Rome to NY met every expectation aboard the Escape. Have sailed many times and the crew this trip was the most friendly we've ever experienced.
The staff on the NCL Breakaway were friendly and helpful. As usual, the Haven is the preferred place to be...well worth the extra dollars for priority everything.
Excellent service and all plans fulfilled
This was a good cruise for an entire family. However, when just the two of us cruise we prefer other cruise lines.

This trip was a wonderful experience. I liked the cruiseline, and would surely book with it. I even have another cruise coming up with this cruise line in December. But unfortunately it will be the same cruise-ship. I shall be needing Affordable's help in the near future to find another cruise with the same cruise line.
