Flexible Cancellation available for Holland America Line cruises sailing on or before April 30, 2022 ("Eligible Cruise"). This policy applies to new and existing bookings made on or before February 28, 2022, for Holland America Line sailings on or before April 30, 2022. Guests may cancel up to 30 days before the Eligible Cruise’s embarkation for any reason and receive a Future Cruise Credit (FCC) in the amount of any applicable cancellation fees and a refund of additional funds received to the original payment method. Within 30 days of embarkation, guests may cancel and receive the FCC if they or someone in their immediate travel party tests positive for COVID-19. Book by February 28, 2022 to qualify for the FCC benefit in lieu of paying cancellation fees. Cruises through February 28, 2022 have a 60-day final payment window. Cruises sailing March 1, 2022 and later retain their published final payment date. Outside of payment 1, standard cancelation policies apply. FCC value shall be determined by the actual non-refundable cancellation fees for the Eligible Cruise's booking, less any amount refunded in the form of original payment. Cancellation Protection Plan or Platinum Cancellation Protection Plan ("CPP"/"CPPP") premiums and reimbursed amounts shall not be included in the value of the FCC. Once verified and processed, the FCC will be applied to the consumer’s Mariner number. If consumer does not have a Mariner number, Holland America Line will create a Mariner number for the consumer. Consumer must use the FCC towards a future Holland America Line cruise booking prior to December 31, 2022 or it will be forfeited in its entirety. FCC is only valid on cruises sailing in 2021 - 2022. FCC may be subject to additional terms and conditions as provided by Holland America Line and may not be used for deposits, taxes, fees, or port expenses, or CPP/CPPP. The value of the FCC and the Offer are non-transferrable, are not redeemable for cash, and have no cash value. May not be combined with any other offers. Offer may be modified or withdrawn without prior notice. Any promotion or offer available during or with the Eligible Cruise booking shall not apply to the subsequent booking. Health and Safety Protocols
The following policies have already been implemented across all Holland America's entire fleet:
Timely safety and hygiene communications
- Guests will find information in the daily program and on their stateroom televisions.
- Tips displayed on onboard digital screens throughout the ship.
- Daily announcements by the Cruise & Travel Director.
Restaurants, bars and lounges
- Hand sanitizer dispensers are in high-traffic locations, including all entrances to all dining rooms and the Lido Market.Guests will find information in the daily program and on their stateroom televisions.
- Lido Market hand sanitizer stations are staffed to prompt guests to either use the sanitizer or use the available hand washing stations.
- All food service stations, including Lido Market, will be staffed. Any self-serve areas that remain, such as condiment set-ups, will be monitored by dedicated personnel. All serving utensils in self-service locations are replaced every 30 minutes.
Housekeeping for staterooms and suites
- Stateroom surfaces and fixtures are thoroughly cleaned up to twice daily with particular attention to bathrooms, handles, and frequently touched surfaces
- Oxivir solution is used as a secondary sanitation method on all touch points after each stateroom is serviced.
- All guest corridors including handrails, elevator buttons and stateroom door handles are frequently sanitized.
- A nightly deep cleaning and disinfection process for all highly-trafficked public areas using foggers, including: all restaurants, the fitness center, spa, Lido deck areas, promenade, casino, medical center, public restrooms, lounges, bars, lobbies, elevators, atrium, youth activity centers, arcades and all crew public areas.
Guests with flu-like symptoms
- Any stateroom of a guest displaying flu-like symptoms will receive additional deep cleaning.
- All bed linens, table cloths, towels, napkins, etc. in the affected room will be laundered in a high-temperature sanitation wash and dry program.

Even though we have cruised through the Panama Canal before, it is always an amazing experience. This cruise also offered several new port stops, including a beautiful Caribbean Island.

Great overall experience
Dawn was great!!! She helped us through the process. I pretty much knew what I wanted but she informed me of everything that was needed, was patient and kind on the phone. She answered my questions and if I had additional questions I could email or call her and she was always prompt with answering back. I would highly recommend the cruise we took and with working with Affordable Tours.com. I had already taken a European Tour about 15 years ago and was highly satisfied then with Affordable Tours.com and am again satisfied with the accommodations and the service that I received both times. Thank you so much. The cruise to Alaska (our first cruise ever) was absolutely wonderful. Holland America is the cruise line to take for this trip. The staff and everyone we met were kind, courteous, informative and always wanting to help you no matter what. The food was top notch and so were the accommodations. OUr room with a balcony was spacious and we didn't feel cramped at all. The entertainment was great as well.
The cruise was Great!! The transport to the ship was fine! The transfer from the ship to the airport was a nightmare! The bus for our group departure was one hour late getting to the ship. I took another 45min to get our bags on the bus. San Diego was having a torrential downpour so when we got to the terminal, the driver made one stop mid terminal and said this is my only stop, put all bags on the curb, getting soaked. My husband needed a wheelchair assistance ( as did many of the other passengers ). I had 4 suitcases to shlep all the way to the end of the terminal ( the same direction she had to drive anyway ). By the time we reached UA curbside, our bodies,luggage and spirits were soaked! What was a wonderful trip became a stress fest,and barley made our flight.
My spa room on board the Eurodam was spectacular.
This cruise was very enjoyable. There was only one excursion that I would not take the next time.
We love Holland America Cruise Line. The only complaint that we have is that they are not in port long enough. Actually that goes for other cruise lines too.

We just got back from our Alaska cruise on Holland America Eurodam had awesome time with our families, good food on the ship, great shore excursions, and we\'re very happy with our cabin. It was bigger than we expected, Eurodam had great decor, great friendly crews. They always smiled and greeted us, great shout to wait staffs in the main dining room and Lido. They were fantastic and amazing people. Great shows and singers, very talented people. We're very impressed. We had a good time on the cruise with our family reunion.
We had a wonderful time on Alaska cruise on Holland America Eurodam, this was our first time cruising with our families reunion. We had a blast, good food on the ship, great accommodation for our cabin, friendly crews, good shows every night. They were amazing talented people, we're very impressed and we'll definitely cruise with Eurodam again.
I had a good time with my family on Alaska cruise on Holland America Eurodam. Great room accommodation, good food, great shows each night, very talented people with amazing voice and great excursions. I only wish the ship gives us more time on shore to explore the town. Overall it's a good cruise for family reunion.

This is actually a comment I should send to Holland America but perhaps it will be helpful to you. We were very happy having an inside room both for the cost savings and the fact that we were headed for the land of the midnight sun so we slept ALOT better. However, the room as pictured in the ships website did not come up to even the minimum of what I had expected. What I saw had atleast a chair and small couch. Our room had boxy stool and that was all. In all, I would still go with an inside cabin...after all, we can always sit on the deck, in a lounge, and enjoy happy hour in the crows nest. Perhaps you can research accommodations in inside rooms to see which ones would afford a little more comfort while in the room and not just while sleeping. I realize that this could be different from ship to ship.
