Health and Safety Protocols
Azamara takes your and our crew’s health and well-being very seriously, which is why there are many protocols and procedures which have been elevated and introduced to ensure we keep everyone onboard healthy including:
- Implementation of travel restrictions preventing guests and crew coming from or transiting through areas of high risk of infection/exposure from boarding a vessel.
- Performing enhanced screening at the embarkation port
- Providing hand sanitizing gel at boarding and throughout the voyage in all public areas and encourage guests to sanitize often.
- Access to a 24-hour medical facility onboard with a doctor and nurses ready to provide medical care.
- Working with our tour operators to sanitize transportation vehicles and provide Purell wipes for all guests.
Azamara is currently laser-focused on additional safety enhancements for our return to service. To develop Azamara's future boarding screening process and updated health protocols, they are collaborating with government health authorities, the Cruise Lines International Association, and a team of medical experts.

The Azamara Journey Ship was excellent. Good Food, Good Service, and Good Excursions. The entertainment on the Azamara Journey was not as good as on previous cruises.
Excellent trip - great service on the Azamara Journey. Wonderful.
The trip was true to expectations with the Operator. Only the room was slightly below our expectation. Although we booked an Inside Cabin, we expected it to be better than other general lines but found it to be about the same as these lines. No fault of the Operator as they provided a sketch of the cabin, although without dimensions.
Azamara staff were helpful and went out of their way to be of service at all times.
The cruise was better than I ever expected. And the $500 cabin credit was awesome -- there were almost no out of pocket expenses.
This cruise was absolutely the best one we have ever been on and we will continue to travel on Azamara.
Very good organised, good services, profesional activity but for future I prefer more stops.
