The embarkation and debarkation processes were flawless. We arrived at the Port at noon and were through the checkin process and on the ship by 12:30. Having bought the transfer from Port to Airport made for a very smooth debarkation process. We were off the ship at 8am, bags easily located and the facial recognition for going through US Customs was exceptional. We arrived at airport around 9:30 am which was fantastic considering the crazy, busy traffic in LA.
The Operator, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (RCCL), provided the experience expected.
This was a great cruise!
I am not the typical person to cruise. I prefer active vacations, like bike riding every day or riding and hiking and skiing alternate days. That said, it was enjoyable to be with my 11 friends and swim in the salt water pool each day. Meals were lovely, and I found the accommodations acceptable, though a bit cramped compared with hotels on land.
Many on board activities, some of which conflict so you will have to make choices.
A typical cruise with every one being competent and cheerful. Food was as expected from a middle of the road cruise company.
Amit, Riel and Heinrich were excellent waiters.
Affordable Tours helped us board the Mariner of the Seas by Royal Caribbean and we had what the best vacation ever. The kiddos loved it and we did too!

Royal Caribbean is a favorite of ours. They are consistently great to sail with.
The ship is older and not decked out with all the thrills. Our service was excellent. The center of the boat is 12-13 floors. Open and extremely noisy all the time. Strong casino smoke. Our family had a great time and saw Bald Eagles, bears, whales and glaciers. Beautiful scenery and good excursions.
Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines Vision of the Seas is one of there smallest ships being of the Vision Class. Because of it's size it lacks children's amenities that the larger ships have. However it is great for adults who want a more quiet cruise. Cruising out of Baltimore is a plus because of location and closeness of parking.
